Native PDF reader – Vivaldi Android Browser - Issue with 8.0.4045.11
Hello.
I work for a structural steel fabricator. We use Samsung Tablets to view prints from Tekla PowerfabGO. We sign in to their site and that allows us to view a list of our projects and the blueprints for the project. The shop guys use this to view the prints to put all the pieces together and the job out the door.
I guess the tablets just updated to the above version, because now when we open the PDFs from PowerfabGO the PDFs immediately open in a new browser tab on the tablet.
We want the old workflow which was to immediately download the PDF to the device and more or less simultaneously open it in our PDF reader of choice, Xodo. This works so much better for us because we have more PDF editing options, and the operator can tap on the screen to get the full view of the print.
I know it is likely someone will suggest that we tap the three dots and then "download page" then open the file. That is unacceptable to me at this point because it worked so seamlessly just yesterday.
Can someone please tell me if there is a way to change this behavior?
