My step mother was talking to some random lady at the laundry mat who claims to know everything about Shibas and claimed to have owned several. This lady tried telling my step mom that Shibas don't come in tricolor/black and tan. I've had this issue with my step dad as well but managed to prove him wrong. The only way I can seem to change my step moms mind would be to get a DNA kit to find out out what Evah is and hopefully prove her wrong. Even if I tell her what other Shiba owners say about Evah, she claims their dogs aren't Shibas either and sticks with her claim about Evah. I've even been told by the person I got her from that she is a Shiba and even got photos of her parents which I also include in the photos as well.
