2 German parents. What forms to complete for German citizenship

I have been doing tons of research but am still confused and feel totally lost. I have no idea which forms to complete to obtain German citizenship.

I was born in 1968 in the US. My parents are German citizens born and raised in Berlin in 1922 and 1934. They moved to US over 60 years ago and are still German citizens. Father is deceased, mother is still alive at 92. All their ancestors are German citizens. Do I complete the EER and Appendix EER forms or Form F and Anlage V? Or something else? All the forms are also requesting my grandparents' information. Do I have to include their info. if my parents are both German citizens? I won't have detailed info. on my grandparents. My mother found her and my father's birth certificate, and she has their marriage certificate and their old passports. She also has her "green card". I still have to see if she (hopefully) found the originals and not just copies.

I emailed my local German Consulate, but they don't answer individual emails if the info is already on their website. However, if that info. weren't so confusing, I wouldn't need to reach out to them in the first place. My next step is to call them, but I don't know how helpful they will be.

Thank you for any advice.
