Turkish Travel voucher
Has anyone successfully received a traveller's check or travel voucher for an unused Turkish Airlines ticket?
I used the outbound leg of a return business class ticket (approx $4200 return) and have been trying for over two weeks to claim the value of my unused return leg as a traveller's check. A TK phone agent confirmed this was possible and quoted me $1,500 approx.
However, every written response from their feedback department has been a generic policy reply that doesn't address my request at all. Now i'm being told that if I'm getting a refund or travel voucher that my original flight will be recalculated as a single flight, and thus i would be getting only taxes back, under $600 (WTH!!)
Has anyone been through this and actually got it resolved? Any tips on who to escalate to beyond the standard feedback portal? Would really appreciate any advice.
