I’m doing a Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth run and my plan is to give Ole Jerry everything he wants and focus east on the Soviet Menace. I’m building forts like mad and can usually have level 5-6 forts by 1940 with 3 full armies and 10ish mountaineers defending along the whole border. Even with this I’m breaking on defense way to soon, usually in the north first. Any ideas on what I can improve? Micro better is already on the list of improvements I need to make in my life.

I’ve thought about trying to go budget space marines but I don’t have the time to get the industry going usually to the level I’d like for that to work. Do I just build less forts and put the rest of the industry into military factories?
