I just recently had spinal fusion of my L2/L3 and a laminectomy of my L5 about 8 weeks ago. My recovery has been very difficult with sever pain issues. Dr says imaging all looks good and my pain is just from them stretching my nerves to add the cage for the fusion! Now the pain I’m in is affecting everything in my life and my sleep isn’t really a thing because my spasms are way worse at night. The pain medication I see them starting to give me less which I guess is tapering off but I can’t make it the whole time they’re expecting me to make it without the medication. What should I do I’m also going for second opinions I just for all my imaging Friday
