Switching From Java to Golang how much can I Earn and what would my career be

Hi, I am a fresher and have completed 6 months of training at a well-established service-based company. Initially, I was trained in Java, but due to changing project requirements, the company has decided to retrain me in Golang. The client I am being assigned to is also a reputed company.

I would like to understand how this shift to Golang might impact my long-term career prospects. Is Golang a good technology to build a career in compared to Java? Also, if I gain around one year of experience in Golang and then decide to switch companies, what kind of salary range can I realistically expect?

I fall in 7-9 LPA bracket now
