Lurked on this sub quite a bit which helped a lot for our prep so decided to give back to the community!

Arrived at Cusco at 10:00, took a taxi to Ollantaytambo for $160 soles, arrived at 12:30pm, took the Inca express at 12:38 to AC, arrived at AC around 2pm. Ran to the ministerio cultura, arrived at around 2:10pm. There were still around 300 circuit 2A tickets available for the next day (June 1st), although popular time slots 8am to 10am were gone. 7am, 11am, and other time slots were still available.

TLDR: We successfully bought the 7am tickets for the next day at 2:10pm.
