My yellow spotted newts arrive tomorrow from a breeder on Morph Market. I want allllll the information possible to ensure their wellbeing. I’m looking for people with these specific newts and the acclimation process. They are being shipped overnight from California to Texas. What can I expect? How can I help their transition and distress?

How to Cycle Water for Newts!?

I’m an AVID fish keeper and now getting into newts. I’m ordering 3 yellow spotted newts from Morph Market. I haven’t started my set up yet and asked to put a deposit on the newts for them to hold them for me. But they replied with them not being like fish???????? Is this true? I can just plop them in?

DIY lid help!!

My friend is giving me these 2 tanks. I’m going to turn into a bioactive tank for some Eastern Newts. But this shape is really weird. What do you recommend as a lid?
