For reference, I’ve really enjoyed Hades and I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, I also like Stardew Valley (but looking for something that is not pixel art). Baldur’s Gate 3 is pretty much along the lines of what I’m looking for, I like stuff with lots of focus on characters, but unfortunately my mac struggles to run it, to the point where it’s close to unplayable and I had to give up at the end of Act 1, so preferably nothing that’s too demanding on the spec side!

I realise this is probably a bit difficult given the whole MacOS and potato for a computer issue, but I’d appreciate any suggestions!

I remember there being a small party of like three characters, one was a girl, and maybe classes like one character had a bow and the others had swords or something, they fought monsters and there were progressive kind of fights, probably leading up to a boss? Sorry for the very vague description but I remember being addicted to it when I was in primary school, and not much else. Thanks!!
