Menstrual cycle fluctuations
Hi! I searched before posting this and most of what I found was from several years ago. Hoping there’s new insight you can give.
I’m new to MF, I have weighed myself daily for 2 years and my scale syncs with AH. I average my weight at the end of the week and watch for it to trend down. This has worked for me in understanding fluctuations and knowing how my body deals with weight loss. Of course since I do this, MF is getting a daily scale reading automatically. I always go up 2-3 lbs during ovulation, which goes back down once I’m out of that phase, then again 2-3 lbs the week before my period, then back down once it starts. I usually see actual losses during the between weeks, if that makes sense. I’m concerned this is going to confuse the expenditure/weight calculation. (Will it?) I don’t really want to stop weighing daily as it’s become a habit that helps me stay on track. Should I skip checking in on those weeks? Will that avoid confusion? Or am I assuming it will confuse things when it actually will not?
