My only complaint about Woodhaven
It's a big issue by any means, and I highly doubt I'm the first person to talk about it, so I don't know why am I making this post, but I still want to say something about that.
I was sooo disappointed with the lack of dialogue with the Bishops about the events and characters of the dlc. I WISH they would've said at least something about Marchosias and Ygnya at the very least.
Marchosias has definitely been occupying the Mountain for decades, maybe for far longer if his experiments had granted him longevity, which I find quite plausible. He definitely wouldn't have been considered a major threat, after all, the Bishops were entirely focused on containing Narinder, but they would've definitely be aware of him. They could've all had different opinions on him - someone feisty and arrogant like Heket could've been considering him a mere mortal pretender, not worthy of any attention after countless powerful gods they've slayed, while Shamura could've been the one to recognise the danger his intelligence would've eventually posed, and elaborate on their connection suggested by one of Marchosias' own notes.
With Ygnya, one of the most painful elements of the lambkind's tragedy was how the world barely even noticed it - no one cared about untold suffering that was inflicted on them. The Bishops could've been the biggest example of it: they were the ones who actually inflicted it, but I feel like for them it was but a small chapter in their millenia long lives. They had killed dozens of gods, obliterated dozens of cults, took an _untold_ amount of mortal lives - does one more genocide even matter after that? The only thing that made it special for them was the prophesy and how they failed to stop it - not that they've slaughtered an entire nation and destroyed an entire culture.
There could've been more suggestions, like Ygnya herself talking about any of the Bishops, some special interactions between her and Narinder, with him technically being the one who the lambs were slaughtered because of and not carrying about their suffering as well, or Bishops mentioning Hagar in any way - but the two I've mentioned above are definitely the most important ones. Has anyone here thought about such interactions as well, and what suggestions or theories do you have about how they could've played out?
