PPPD
I’ve had a type of vertigo for about 2 years now. I’ve had this since I was 19. I popped my eardrum in a pool and ever since then I have been dizzy every day of my life. It’s always there but some days are worse than others. After my eardrum healed they said I should be fine. I was still the same amount of dizzy so I went to another specialist and they said I have positional vertigo. That was incorrect. So I went to a neurology center and they said I have PPPD which seems like the most likely with my symptoms. I just started taking venlafaxine today and I’ve felt more dizzy, nausea, hot and light headed. I guess it takes a while for the side effects to go away and then takes even longer to notice it even working. I have ordered a mri just to rule out anything behind my ear messed up. If anyone else has this struggle please comment and leave advice.
