(England) Just wondering if anyone knows if this is allowed? We live in a row of terraced houses where there is an alleyway running down the side of the end terrace which takes you to the back of the back gardens. The end terrace has been rented out for years but now the owner is doing it up to sell. He has taken the fence down so now the alley is part of his back garden. He said he had legal advice telling him that he can adopt the land. To be honest no one really used the alley but it is on our deeds, he didn’t even ask the other residents if he could do it
