I want to automate a monthly investment into SXR8 (S&P 500 ETF) through IBKR, but I’m not sure what the best setup is.

My current setup from a previous one-time investment looks like this:

• Main bank account (where all my income/salary goes)
• “Middleman” bank account that I used to reduce transfer fees
  • (I only transfer money there when I want to invest, otherwise the account stays empty)
• IBKR account

What I’d like to achieve is to automatically invest a fixed amount every month with minimal fees and as little manual work as possible, with the money ultimately being invested into SXR8 on IBKR.

If anyone has a similar setup or step by step advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
