I need help identifying this song. I last heard it on SiriusXM's The Blend and 80s on 8. It's easily overlooked considering no success with Google. Most probably early to mid 1980s.

The song starts with typical 1980s sound with youthful energy throughout before the male singer sings. It sounded quite passionate. The lyrics include "yesterday," "run away," and then nonsense verse near the end alongside actual words. That is all I could remember.
