I'm doing a Professor Oak's challenge of Emerald Legacy (basically fill out as much of the Pokedex as possible before each gym badge). I just reached Mauville and fished up a couple of Clampearl on route 118. One of them was holding a Deal Sea Tooth instead of the usual Blue Shard, which was pretty cool. But now I need to know, for the sake of the challenge, if they can also be holding a Dead Sea Scale so I can have both a Huntail and a Gorebyss before I beat Wattson?

I haven't been able to find a list of changes to held items in wild pokemon encounters. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone with that information would be willing to share it.
