Millard Canyon/Stream Access (For research)
Hello! We UCLA researchers hoping to work in the red-circled area (We have worked here in the past) but the road up from Cheney trail is closed and it would be a HAUL with our equipment to get to the study area by foot.
Previously we have worked along the lower canyon/stream (roughly in yellow) where we have seen cabins and people hiking that are coming not from the Millard parking lot, but from the opposite direction. Is there a good way into the canyon along the area in yellow that we don't know about? I see a bunch of side streets and that other road near the Brown Mt. Fire Station...is there any entrance there that is accessble? Thanks for any advice or help!!
