INC wedding (sigh) questions pls
I know, I know.. First off, I would want to run far away from this religion too, I swear. But would want to do this one last thing for my OWE parents and then get the hell away from the religion the day after the wedding ASAP!!! :(
So I have a few questions..
Context: All my parents know (parents are abroad) is that my fiance is on the line to be baptized this coming months.. They've been hinting on me getting married already when they get home next year. HOWEVER, both of us got so lazyyy attending and so he was removed from the system. Basically, he has to do everything all over again UGH. I have questions, so hopefully someone can give me even a tiny bit of insight:
How many months would doctrine/conversion be at this time? I believe they changed the process again?\
So let's say my fiance finishes around january 2027.. would it be possible to book a church location right away? Would it be a red flag to them? We plan on having a wedding at a different locale from where he'll be having doctrine so would they be asking when he was baptized, etc., or any questions that might raise suspicions for them as to why we're "rushing" the wedding?
Any ideas what are the dos and donts in the wedding? I do not want to have bridesmaids (just a MOH) or a lot of ninongs and ninangs.. or is it required?
You know if we could choose, we'd be going for a civil wedding :(
