In manga/anime, why are physically strong girls called "gorilla"?

The characters are often small and/or slender so they don't look like gorillas at all, they're just strong. And this label is usually only applied to girls, not to women or men, unless the man actually looks like a gorila I suppose.

And why gorilla instead of any other animal?

Is there any cultural basis for this? Usually the person called that is offended so maybe it's not often said in real life but who knows....

Or even if it's fiction what's the history? It seems everyone just agree on the same term.

[TOMT][Movie] Rooftop scene confronting a bomber who detonated a bomb in the distance but this turned out to be a simulation to find out where the bomb is

Basically the bomber was put in a simulated reality to reveal where he planted the bomb and in real life the bomb hasn't exploded and upon realizing this screamed something like, "Am I in the box again?"

This made me think it's an AI that somehow gained a human form and is now back without a body anymore but could perhaps be a human wired to a virtual world instead.

I'm sorry if this is not a movie but a TV series, I saw just this scene on TV and nothing else.

I had a chat with Google AI none of its suggestions sounds right.

It mentioned Black Mirror - White Christmas, but White Christmas is not about a bomb at all.

It's weirdly insistent on Source Code, but in Source Code the one put in the simulation is the main character doing the detective work. In my case it's the bomber.

It also suggested I might have combined scenes from the two titles but I'm pretty sure I'm not as I watched the whole short scene in one go. Ironically it suggested it might be The Outer Limits - The Final Exam, but when I almost conceded it admitted there was no simulation in that episode. Who's hallucinating now?
