I hope it’s okay to ask this here. I’m a London-based design student looking into how difficult weather affects Deliveroo riders, especially during heatwaves, heavy rain, snow or storms.

I’d be grateful to hear from riders about your real experiences. For example:

Have you ever worked in extreme heat or heavy rain?
What was it like physically?
Was it difficult to take breaks, drink water, find shelter, use a toilet, or stop safely?
If this kind of weather becomes more common in the future, what kind of support would riders actually need?
