I got a used M2 about 2 months ago, love it as a daily (focus) driver, where Mac Virtual Display is the main appeal.

I've been thinking about upgrading to a brand new M5, but keep reading about marginal benefits.

Question for all M5 AVP owners: When you are using the Mac Virtual Display, if you happen to play video from any AVP-native app (Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) at the same time, do you often get the fans/thermal load spinning up?

For me on the M2, it's noticeable to the point where let's say I'm watching an interview, the hum from the thermal load is audible, and not getting that very often with an M5 would result in an immediate purchase decision.
