Asked a plumber to replace an old shower handle with a new one. When finished, I saw that it protruded out. I asked him if he could make the handle flush with the plate. He said it wasn't possible without major cutting into the tile, making a bigger whole and readjust the valve. Couldn't he just cut about an inch of the 'neck' and reassemble everything?
