Hey everyone,
My NIFT BFTech result just came out and I’m honestly a bit confused about my chances.
My stats are:
CMR: 2022
SC Rank: 153
Weighted Score: 30.45/100
My main goal is NIFT Hyderabad BFTech. Do you guys think I have a realistic chance of getting Hyderabad with these ranks? Any seniors who got Hyderabad or know the recent cutoff trends, please let me know.
Also, I have another issue. I got RT in Physics in my CBSE Class 12 boards and I’ll be writing the compartment exam. Has anyone here joined NIFT with an RT/compartment in one subject?
Can I still take part in counselling normally? Will NIFT give provisional admission until the compartment result comes? What was the process like for those who went through it?
I’d really appreciate any help, especially from BFTech seniors or anyone who has been in a similar situation. Hyderabad is my first preference, so I’m trying to understand my chances and how the RT situation will affect admission.

My BFTech result hasn’t come out yet, but I currently have a compartment in Physics in Class 12 and I’m planning to clear it. I wanted to ask if anyone knows whether this can affect BFTech admission badly, or if provisional admission is usually allowed until compartment results come.

I’m a bit confused about the process, so any help from seniors or anyone familiar with NIFT admissions would really help. Thanks :)

I just got my BFTech 2026 score: 52 out of 150 (SC category). I’m trying to get an idea of which NIFT campus / BFTech program I might realistically get with this score.

I’ve been a bit confused about how cutoffs and campus allocations usually work, especially for BFTech, so I’d really appreciate any guidance from seniors or anyone familiar with the process.

With this score + SC category, what campuses should I be expecting?
Is there any chance for newer campuses, or should I be preparing for a specific range?

Any help or past-year insight would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!
