Are Zegna Linen & Linen Blend Overshirts worth it anymore ?
After wearing my only Zegna linen blend overshirt to death for several years and getting tonnes of comments a couple buttons and some stitches came loose, so took it to the store expecting free service, shocker - Zegna no longer offers free after service for their items that you did not buy directly from them.
I decided maybe it was time for an update and maybe some variety, but guess not, as their current prices are insane.
Zegna has always been expensive but atleast you know you are getting the very best and a lifetime after service, but clearly this is no longer the case. I guess it’s now more of a status symbol than for persons who generally enjoy fashion.
I got my current Zegna linen/wool/silk blend overshirt about 4years or so ago brand new. It retailed for about $1200 but i ended up paying about ~900 for it. The same overshirt today currently costs $2750 and has no sales so suffice it to say, I am shook lol.
Any recs on alternatives for high end overshirts that are as nice but more reasonably priced?
