9 mo Shihpoo got her at 10 weeks

She's hiding to poop inside. I control her feeding times and wait about 30 minutes to take her out. I've tried letting her run around a little, walking her on leash, and limiting her to the same area of the yard.

I want to try tethering myself to her while we are inside. How long of a leash should I get?
