Has anyone felt or noticed that their OCD exacerbated with age? I was formally diagnosed at the age of 10, but recall it starting earlier. For the most part of my life, the OCD has been manageable. It barely manifested externally (I do have trichotillomania, which was the first visible indicator at 10), and the OCD didn’t significantly affect my daily life. However, in the last year or two, I have felt like it went from zero to sixty and it’s been exhausting. Manageable, but manifesting everywhere, in and out of my home. Just curious to know if others have experienced this and some suggestions, aside from meds. Thanks! 🙏🏻

Edit: I’m almost 40 now so it has felt kind of wild that it took about 30 years to make this sudden acceleration.
