Load shedding and pc

So im from kpk and we get pretty moderate power shut offs over here like previously sometimes id get 3 4 times random outages while my pc was running in a day, I dont have a UPS but I can get a surge protector which ik wouldnt help with the outage but protect it from post surges.

So if I got a decent mid range psu n all will it help prolong the pc lifespan or is it just kinda risky getting a pc before I get a pc? Keeping in mind there's no proper time the load shedding occurs its just random asf
