Apologies if this gets asked often. I searched through previous threads, but most of the posts I found were two to six years old, so I figured I’d ask for some more current recommendations.

I’ll be visiting Playa del Carmen next week and I’m looking for:

- Deep sea fishing charters

- Local fishing experiences

- Cenotes/excursions that are actually worth doing

- More authentic experiences and less tourist-trap type stuff

Would also appreciate hearing:

- Who to avoid

- What’s overpriced

- Anything you’d absolutely recommend doing while there

Coming from Oklahoma and really looking forward to the trip. Thanks in advance for any advice.
