Hello, I found this little fella in a parking lot and they have a crack in their shell. It's a small area and looking at guides online they can heal in a month or so. I'd love to help them out until they're able to be released or maybe kept. This is the best enclosure I could do for the night, but I'm curious- Would a plastic bin be bad for them long term? I taped (both sides, no adhesive exposed at all) the gaps but plan to leave some room and then poke holes in plastic wrap maybe? I'd rather not risk my cats getting curious and deciding to play. I know I need to incorporate calcium, I was thinking some egg with shell might be good. Food scraps I'm nervous about, I don't have anything organic for the night...
