Getting my foot back in the Disney door after 10+ years! 🤞

I am on the bench for the Disney central travel trade associate role, and I have 2 more interviews coming up next week with Disney for other bench roles. I am very excited!

My current position is in sales and I work with travel advisors regularly. I have read all the pretty intense/negative takes about working in Disney reservations and this particular role, but I am up for it. I’m comfortable with sales goals and metrics, reviews, high stakes, busy busy busy. And I know Disney reservations will be like my current job, just on copious amounts of steroids 😵‍💫

I worked for Disney in a variety of roles over 10 years ago, and I want to get my foot in the door again. If these roles are the way for me to do it, then I’m willing!

Would love to hear from anyone else who went back to the company after a long break!

Hi current CMs with dogs! For pet care during your long or late shifts do y’all use:

  1. Rover app (or similar) for dog walks
  2. Best friends doggy daycare on Disney property
  3. Help of fellow cast members?
Is there a website or online group where CMs help each other with like pet swaps? It’s just me and my dog so I don’t have friends in Orlando (yet!) or family nearby to help
Any insight is appreciated, thank you!
