Views on the new masters by Ecole Polytechnique - ENSAE
Hi Everyone,
I am using my throwaway account here. I am recently completed my BSc from a top econ school in Europe. I hold an offer for the Masters in AI for Markets and Quantitative Investment X-ENSAE (MaQI). It is a new program and has no prior data to base the decision from, so I would really appreciate if someone in the industry or experience with masters program could advice me if it might be a good choice.
Positives: 1) The course director Charles-Albert is a veteran in the field and seemed very confident about this program and also mentioned he could help with the placements. 2) The program has QRT and BNP as partners so there might be natural career opportunities there. 3) Really unique and cutting edge courses (atleast from what I felt).
Negatives: 1) New program so there might be a lot of variance and uncertainty and the quality. 2) Ecole and ENSAE are more known for their ingenieur program, so not sure how this Masters will be looked at in the job market.
Thanks in advance!
