How to patch and prep these old wooden trailer panels enough for new paint? Read caption

This trailer is old guys. As old as my dad (52). And I plan on getting a new one in the next season or two for my racing team (car in photo), but for now I want to do up the inside to look more professional.

I already have a plan: take everything out, sand everything with 600grit paper and orbital sander, blow it out, put some kind of surface filler over everything, sand with 200 grit, lay down primer and then paint. I want to do a white upper, black lower and aqua green stripe to match my car. I’m also going to put in shop lights and LED lights on the stripe just to make it special.

In a perfect world, I’d replace the paneling, but I’m not going to exert all that effort on this trailer. I also do t have the time, I have a race in 2.5-3 weeks and I want to have it all done before then. I’m going to be recording it and putting it on my socials.

The help I need is, how do I patch the damage areas (see photos), what kind of filler/skim do I use, what paint and primer is recommended? And honestly any other tips would be helpful.
