Character animation very different from Blender to Godot. Any insights?

Still a work in progress but I thought I'd export the model into Godot to see how the animation looks and the second clip is just one example of how the mesh tears and deforms unlike the Blender version. Hilarious but devastating to watch.
All transforms have been applied, animations baked, I've re weight painted, and I've followed the Godot import tips and tricks. Anyone experiencing similar issues? Might be my blender skills..
