IS this the norm ??

I recently moved states , and decided to start working at me nearest CFA as I had prior experience in my old town . For context I have worked at 4 different locations including this one 2 were the same operator .

At my first cfa 2021 , we got an employee meal regardless of hours , plus a $10 credit regardless of if we work that day or not , we also got a cfa cup with our name upon being hired , and a book . Plus for employee appreciation week we got free messages, they paid an ice cream truck to give us free ice cream . On birthdays they would give out small gift cards . And to top it all off throughout the year we would get little gifts for doing a good job .

At my other location (different operator )
Would grant us a free meal regardless of hours, but almost always would get additional perks , instead of throwing out the ice cream at the end of the night , we almost always were allowed to get ice creams to go . In addition , they had a price box if they felt you went above and beyond that day , so I got a bunch of CFA Merch from that store.

I give this context because this is just the type of norm I was used to . So imagine my suprise when I found out that this new location I was working at . Employees only get a free meal after 6 hours of work , you must eat at the store and are not allowed to take any food home (even your meal break food ) it specially says in our handbook that taking meal break food home is grounds for immediate termination ,
We are not allowed to drink the lemonade
All food gets thrown out at the end of the night

Another thing I would like to add is that In my other stores it was unheard of for someone to wait more than 7 minutes in drive through ! As a matter of fact after 10 we would automatically give a be our guest card and some cookies
At this store I have seen orders wait as long as 20 minutes !! And it’s not followed my a single I’m sorry , be our guest card , anything !!!I have to beg sometimes for a cookie to give out . It is such a cultural shock ,
I went from a stores who would allow employees to give out ice creams to customers on special occasions , free food , to a store that will terminate you for taking meal break food home .

We had someone who came and was missing an order , he explained to me that it was a 30 minute drive back , now at my other stores management would have allowed me to give them some sort of compensation card , when I talked to management they told me their was nothing they could do and they gave me the order to hand to them , while I was the one taking the heat with the customer .

Were my first 3 stores the norm ? Or is this current store the normal ? I didn’t know how blessed I was at my other locations .
