Transport to and fro (Beijing to Gubei)
Hi everyone,
I will be travelling with my parents to Beijing in late October to early November this year. We plan to spend 2 nights at Gubei to visit both the Mutianyu and Simatai wall, as well as the water town. We plan to travel from Beijing city center to Gubei straight via didi.
However, from Gubei to Mutianyu (which is around an hour plus away), will there be any didi’s available to pick us up and back to Gubei considering how ulu it is? We also plan to take a didi as well from Gubei and back to Beijing.
Would it better to book a chartered bus or car service? Not really sure if how or where I should be booking at as Klook only provides transport to and fro within the same day. Any advice?
Ps:
Day 1: Beijing -> Gubei (Town and Simatai)
Day 2: Gubei -> Mutianyu - Gubei
Day 3: Gubei -> Beijing
Also, how cold would it be in general during that time (Late October to Early November)? Would a light jacket/sweater be enough? We’re from Southeast Asia and aren’t used to the cold that much.
