Question for those that have had over 10 years with their DUI
Hello Everybody I had a question for those that have had over 10 years with their DUI or are close to that in California.
When were you actually allowed back onto “premium” insurances? How much did it cost in comparison to what you pay now?
I’m at 6 years completed(7 since the incident), and I’ve been driving around a pretty old car(06). I wanted to get a new car but would want better coverage than what I currently have. I’ve looked around and requested quotes from big insurances and most won’t even cover me yet and the ones that do charge me like crazy for minimal coverage.
I just wanted to have a better timeline as to what to expect for a new car. I only have one DUI but the 10 years I’m referring to is the time with it on your driving record.
