I have just got back from a great holiday in Thailand, where I tasted my first fresh Mangosteen. Then went on to eat as many as I could find, but that's not important right now :)

I live in Sydney and was wondering if it's possible to get canned Mangosteens, and if they are still good from the can? It's not the right season for fresh here, and even when it is, they aren't the cheapest fruit from what I remember.
