My [27F] boyfriend [26M] likes to notice other girls while we’re on a date
Me [27F] and my boyfriend [26M] have been dating for years now and I noticed that he likes mentioning how he finds certain girls that we walk past to, pretty or give a certain it girl aura. He even tells me to try dressing like them since he thinks that it will look great on me. I’m all about appreciating other people’s beauty but not to the point that I’ll actively look at other people’s faces, especially while on a date. He even says stuff like how he thinks the guy is so lucky bagging a pretty girlfriend when we see other couples. He has done these a lot and I try to brush it off but recently, he asked for help in carrying his things to fix his hair (as I noticed a pretty girl walking past us) then tells me that the girl was pretty.
Another thing is that, before he started his new job, he jokes around how he wants to be the most handsome guy in his work. And when he did start going to work, he tells me that he thinks he actually is.
I feel like he has narcissistic tendencies but maybe these are just some things that I wouldn’t do especially considering how my partner would feel. Is this really normal and how should I handle this?
