Hi all, had root canal maybe a decade ago. Yesterday the back of my tooth and the final filling fell out.

I'm in Scotland and currently on the waiting list to join a dentist (as none are taking on NHS patients just now)

I called the public dental line. As I'm not currently in pain I am not a priority. They told me to get Dentemp to use and wait for a dentist to open up (this could be 6 months...)

Everything I'm reading about this tells me I shouldn't put Dentemp on this. I could trap bacteria, it only lasts up to 4 weeks and if I try to take it out I could do damage.

Has anyone been in this situation?
