My son got an upgrade!
Its been a journey for him to say the least.
Started on an xr50, quickly upgraded to an xr80. He rode the 80 for a couple of years, got good with his clutch and brake work so I stepped him up to a RM85.
I bought it used and did a frame up restoration. Had the frame powdercoated and a fresh rebuild on the motor. New brakes, clutch disc and basket, plastics, chain, the works! He really loved this bike and could keep up with most of the full size bike guys.
He worked hard, graduated, and got a huge scholarship to Norwich University. His grandpa surprised him and rewarded him with this, 26 (70th Anniversary) Yz125 ! He liked the plastics color over the standard blue. I was also super happy he stuck with a 2 stroke, As a suzuki fan boy I gotta admit its a pretty cool bike!
