Electrolux Dryer making noise after repair
Hi!
Thank you for stopping to check this out. I recently repaired (attempted so far) our Electrolux Dryer (Model: EIMGD60LT3) due to the dryer running then intermittently stopping. The attempted fixes so far have led to improvement, but not a complete fix. If you would provide any direction or guidance on how to resolve that would be awesome!
This is my first attempt at appliance repair. The research I started with pointed to replacing the idler pulley and rollers first. They were pretty bad, so I did that. The issue persisted, so I replaced the motor and thermal sensor next. The belt was in good condition, so I am using the same belt.
At this point, I have replaced multiple parts on it, including
Rollers
Idler Pulley
Motor
Thermal Sensor
It no longer intermittently stops, but it does go from running quietly to noisy back and forth. The quiet time between the noise could be 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The noise only lasts normally about 15-25 seconds. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated. My wife also thanks you. 😄
