See this reply to an issue I'm experiencing after the latest security update to my unlocked Motorola g power.

My fingerprint reader stops working after an hour and I'm trying to perform the recommended step 2 but that system app doesn't exist on my apps list. Googling and asking Gemini states it's com.android.server.biometrics.

Searching for 'finger' or 'bio' in the app list returns nothing.

I saw a few comments sprinkled here regarding the latest update and several comments were about the fingerprint read and other things( that don't impact my old phone) so I'm dropping a post to report it but also ask if there is anything outside of a reboot to remediate this issue quickly.

My experience so far: When I discover the fingerprint reader doesn't respond, I can still login. Checking out the fingerprint setup I have two fingerprints established but I can't add anymore. Swore I could do four total. A reboot later and it works for maybe a few minutes to an hour.
