Why did Effie grab Haymitch’s tape?
In the second book, it is said that Effie only grabbed the tapes for the games in which the victors were still alive, since they could be reaped and compete with Katniss and Peeta. The two then go and watch the footage of the 50th games, which Haymitch won. What was the point of her even grabbing that tape, if Haymitch could not be a competitor to them?
