So I had to get my kyleena IUD a couple of months ago because it had migrated out of place and was causing me to spot and causing cramping. In place of it, my OB GYN put me on Slynd (since I’m not able to tolerate anything with estrogen which literally gives me heart palpitations). From the day I started which was when I had my IUD removed I have been on my period heavily for 2 months straight!!! To the point where I am severely anemic and have to get iron infusions. I stopped the pill last week. While I’m not bleeding heavily anymore I’m still spotting. Just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with Slynd and whether their period returned back to normal. And if so, how long did it take to normalize?
