Will it be worth upgrading from red magic 10 pro to 12 pro?

After an incident that I've had with my current red magic device I've been pondering if it would make sense to swap my current phone the next version of red magic that I'm assuming will be coming this year perhaps? I'll be honest I've never been super satisfied with this device, specially the cameras which i know, it's a trade-off that you have to make for the power that you get with a device like this. Nonetheless, i still find it ridiculous how bad the selfie camera is and that weird ai filter that you get whenever you take a selfie. It just makes the photos look so unnatural, it's hard to explain. Furthermore ive always had concerns with the exposed fan holes and how i could potentially damage my device accidentally if something gets inside of them.

So with this all being said, will it be worth the wait? Or should i just stick with what I've got?

My redmagic 10 pro died in less than 1 year

A few days ago when i was coming back home from work i tried to connect the razer kishi 3 controller to my phone, which used to work flawlessly, but at that moment it wasn't connecting for some reason. I soon found out that there was a bit of water in my phone's port. i tried to clean it as best as i could but my controller wasn't connecting still. On the next day it did connect but the connection was faulty. For a moment i thought that the problem could be the controller itself but when i tested it on my brother's phone, it worked just fine on his device. Now as time went on I'm having issues charging and my razer controller no longer connects to my phone. I have tried to clean it before but nothing has worked. Is there any other potential fix i could try? Or perhaps should I wait for the red magic 12 whenever that comes out?
