I've been searching for a part-time job for a good few months now and have turned up absolutely nothing.

I've worked in the past but only because people I've known had put my name forward for seasonal work. I've never been able find a longer term job by myself.

I've tried job hunting websites like 'Indeed' as well as going to the actual companies' websites and applying for any jobs they have advertised there. I've also emailed many local businesses asking if they have any positions open but they all come back to me saying they have no open positions or don't contact me at all.

I was just wondering if anyone could share any tips on what more I could be doing or different ways that maybe I could try
