First time receiving a request for additional tip, want to know from drivers if I would be considered a "good tipper"
We order doordash a bit too often, to be honest, and this is the first time I've ever received a message like this. I think I tip well, especially more now with prices how they are. If they follow the delivery instructions I always send extra tip (but I don't advertise that in the instructions section).
For context I tipped $7.50 on a 3 mile distance delivery, total was $27.50 before fees/tip.
I've always been curious to ask drivers...does that seem decent, or am I low balling (in general, not bc of this random request)?
I just want to make sure I'm doing drivers right.. I don't know the base pay on deliveries.
Thank you!!
