Elitebook vs new Acer
I’m in the market for laptop for some upcoming travel and work. I’m also looking to pass this on to my kid for their grad school classes in business analytics. I’ve been looking at Elitebooks mostly but came across a recent Memorial Day sale of the Acer Swift Go 16 for $900 + tax.
The Elitebook I have the option of buying is $732 out the door.

I know the ram on the Elitebook is upgradeable and the Acer is soldered so what you get is what you get.
Which is the better value?? Does the ability to upgrade the Elitebook help in keeping it semi-modern for grad-school / professional workloads or is the Acer more than capable?
