The Star-Time skins aren't that good, so I redesigned them!
The Star-Time skins just don't have the level of quality of the other robux skins such as the Showtime skins, and a couple look outright bland. They were good for their time, but times change. That's why I thought I could make them a bit cooler!
To start, I'm going to explain the redesign choices. You'll notice there is much more color variety, I wanted the skins to be a bit more individual. Because the stats are measured in STARS and they are STAR-time, I thought it would be cool to use the color of the stat each of the mains is best at! Orange for Shelly's skill check, yellow for Pebble's speed, green for Sprout's stamina, blue for Astro's stealth, and purple for Vee's extraction. I still wanted to use the yellow and blue cuz they look nice as well as elements from the current designs just so they aren't too different than what people paid for.
Shelly's design was honestly just not good, she looked like a tourist and the only notable thing was the dinosaur shirt. I was kinda confused on whether the thing on her head was a headband or glasses? But I think switching it to a big pair of shiny glasses was more fun and eye-catching! I gave her a lil bandana and switched her bands to gloves just to have some cool stuff and of course an orange star to represent skill check. I kept the dinosaur shirt cuz let's be real it's freakin awesome!!
Pebble probably had the best designed skin out of the five, so I didn't have much to do. I gave him some thunderbolts and a lil yellow star above his nose because he's a speedy lil guy, but he honestly needed a redesign the least.
Sprout. He's green cuz stamina, thought he looked a bit like an alien so I gave him lil antennae. He looked like a weird radish so I made him unripe strawberry to look more natural. Idk he was the least interesting to design. I gave him cool lil wings on the boots though just cuz
Nothing was really that wrong with Astro's design, it was just boring. I added a cool mix of blues to his hat as well as twinkles on his hat and blanket to make it more interesting and eye catching, and made his cross eye into a blue star for stealth. There's some clouds with a moon and stars surrounding him just for fun, and because he has magic powers I guess lol. He just really needed some extra sparkles and flair.
Vee had my favorite design out of all the Star-Time skins, I just had to keep her cloudy coat and sun moon antennae, it's so cool!! I did make her more purple and changed her star bow to be purple because extraction and gave her pants with stars on the knees just so she didn't feel a bit naked by comparison. I also gave her antennae and her microphone little purple rings cuz I thought it looked pretty sweet!
So that's pretty much my silly redesigns of the Star-Time skins! I personally think I cooked, but let me know what you think! Even if they aren't my redesigns, I do hope Qwel makes them better.
